I visited the memory fab that Micron’s putting up in Boise. The scale is astonishing. It’s ~160 feet tall and will hold over 10 football fields (600,000 sq ft) of clean room space. The total ground floor surface area is over 20 fields. But because the building will have 4 levels, the total interior space will be over 80 fields, or 4.85m sq ft. Taking photos and videos from the public roads around it was frustrating because they don’t adequately capture its size at all. 1/
