Always loved this scene from GK because it reminded me so much of our experience over there. All of us were kids. Didn’t seem that way at the time. HNCO from upper crust, chud Ray, gay reporter (not derogatory in this case), insane gunner, annoyed SGT, all sharing a moment of cultural homogeneity in a war zone far away from home. All of them know the war is bs at this point, but they’re going to finish it and get home because they understand it now.

This was not an uncommon experience in Anbar. I went in a true believer but after about 3 months it was clear no one had any clue what the grand strategy was. Shouldn't be a surprise that guys who went through this transformative period don't want zoomers to deal with the same.

Last update. Also, if you are shopping for meat we still sell that at PasturePeaks dot Com. Just seen so many people grift over the years I did not want a soul to think that is what we were up to here. It isn’t. But I have businesses to run/assist with and at some point we will have to start talking about them again. I’d hope the efforts speak for themselves. Thanks again to everyone.
