Interesting exchange on CNBC this morning after inflation rose 3.3% Biden’s Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg attacks gas prices and inflation under Trump. Joe Kernen says “You averaged $3.80 under Biden for four years Mr. Secretary.” He then reminds him of 9% inflation under Biden.

For the last six weeks, Zohran Mamdani brought disgruntled nyc renters together. He says their testimonies will shape city policy. Here’s one of the testimonies I heard. Abagail and her roommates pay $900 a month TOTAL for their 3 bedroom Brooklyn apartment. She tells me the ceiling is caving in, there’s rats, etc. The normal 3 bedroom apartment goes for $4,892 a month. She and others hope Mamdani will keep his promise to crack down on “bad landlords.”

Today Michelle Obama joined the sex and dating podcast 'Call Her Daddy' to criticize society’s focus on women's looks. She promoted her new book, “The Look,” which explores her outfits as first lady. Obama told podcast host Alex Cooper she wished the press focused less on what she wore and more on her education and professional background. “The top of the article would be ‘she was wearing…’” Obama said. “Not my education, not my professional career.” Cooper agreed with Obama. Both women seemed to forget that 12 minutes earlier their interview opened with, “Talk to me about your outfit. How did you pick it?”
