Underrated movie. A perfect zoom-out shot: the characters screaming directly at the camera, the slow reveal, the limp head comically falling back… The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) rules.

Genuinely pretty fucking gross to say “it’s just a vampire movie” “it’s not that deep” about a movie where the characters explicitly talk about their struggles and fears living in the post-slavery south

The opening kill in SUSPIRIA (1977) is so brutal, tragic, cruel. And just how over the top and colorful it is really sets the mood for the film. RIP to her, but Argento’s mind!
