Results Day just dropped. Royal Holloway suspended me for 9 weeks over ONE free speech comment. Banned from campus. They refused any support. Refused catch-up. Refused extra tuition. No help. Nothing. While they hoped I’d fail. My grades went UP 17%!! Every module 2:1 or above. Finished 3 marks from a First. They tried to bury me for speaking out. I used their bullshit as fuel. I have 1 year left. This degree is getting finished on my own terms. Universities don’t own you. They don’t get to silence you. They sure as hell don’t get to break you. They tried to shut me down. One “tea towel” keffiyeh jibe at freshers fair → police interview room → now CPS deciding on criminal charges. Katie Hopkins called the keffiyeh a tea towel. No arrest. Listen to this. For 4 months straight 2 Royal Holloway students harassed me and my Jewish friend with nonstop No Caller ID calls. Sometimes 10+ an hour. They’d ring me, I ignore, straight to him, back to me. Here’s what they were screaming down the phone: “I’ll be antisemitic with my full chest, fuck them and fuck you” “You love Jewish dick… you’re obsessed with Jewish dick… why are you obsessed with Jewish people?” Plus “Free Palestine”, “white man with white privilege”, threats to my friend: “We know where you live. We’re below you right now. Coming to JSoc to beat you all up.” We reported it immediately. Uni knew the identities. Police got a full signed statement in February with recordings, call logs, everything. It’s now May. Uni is still “investigating”. No action. Yet I got suspended the same day for a political reply to someone starting on me. This is two-tier Britain. British students get punished instantly for words. Certain others can do months of antisemitic abuse, sexual harassment and threats - and nothing happens. Surrey Police and Royal Holloway: you’ve had the evidence for months. I feel SAFER here than on Royal Holloway campus or walking through parts of the UK. I’ve left the endless division for a couple of weeks, the anti-Israel obsession, the hostility and what feels like straight-up anti-Jewish vibes on some British campuses… and came to Tel Aviv. Here I am in Ashdod. No war zone. Just normal life. Families laughing on the sand. TLV Cafés packed. Muslim Israelis living their day-to-day alongside everyone else. Despite Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and Iranian IRGC constantly threatening - Israelis are out here LIVING. Not hiding and not scared. The keyboard warriors from Royal Holloway University screaming “genocide” and “apartheid” have never stepped foot here. They get their “facts” from campus echo chambers and TikTok rage bait. So here’s my message to every Royal Holloway hater and every loudmouth who’s never visited: Come and see it for yourself.
