So, Todd Monken has an 18:36 video out there from 2023 where he is walking through all of his coaching stops in his career with lessons learned along the way. He goes into deep detail about many from his CFB and NFL career. Most slides are deep detail and he spends several minutes discussing the stop and what he learned and taken into theory. Here's an example of one of his slides with detail. Then the last single minute of the presentation he stops on his 2019 Browns experience with Freddie and it's incredibly short and basically nothing discussed. That season was hell for all involved and it's funny watching him show nothing was learned from it at all. Watch the transition from detail to "2019 sucked."

Dillon Gabriel is a rookie in his 3rd NFL start. Execution failures will happen. But the eyes have to be in the right places and the process needs to be clean. That was not the case in W7 and I walk you through my concerns here in the full Film Room. 🔗:

Same scheme. Same 1st and 10. Dressed up two different ways. You tell me which play-caller gets it and which doesn't.

Grant Delpit's INT came on the same 3rd and 3 concept he perfectly read in a 2023 game in Pittsburgh. Triple slant where he reads QB eyes, passes off his man to the low hole zone LB, and then jumps the in-breaker from No. 2. Elite stuff in an huge moment.

There might not be a funnier three play series of consecutive plays than this one from the Cleveland Browns.

Copycat league, as they say. The 4Q AJ Barner TD last night caught my eye as it felt very similar (field position, Patriots defense) to this Browns Week 8 TD in New England. Not 1-for-1 copied but Klint Kubiak stole the structure and they made it work beautifully.
