Yesterday at Nyanza Genocide Memorial , My team and I spent time honoring the memory of our past. We listened, we learned, and we shared quiet moments with survivors(Intwaza)whose strength continues to inspire us. As we mark #Kwibuka31, we remember over one million lives lost during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. We honor the resilience of survivors, the bravery of our liberators and the spirit of a nation that chose unity over division, and dignity over despair. MPORE RWANDA. We remember. We unite. I love seeing Rwandan music go international, and big respect to all my fellow artists—we’re making it happen together! But it’s disappointing that we had no presence at the Trace Awards last night. Our media needs to do better—we deserve our space on the global stage! We need to show up🙏🏿
