#YNWMellyLawsuit: Judge Melissa Damian allowed Melvin & Melly 2 Face 🌗’s lawsuit to move forward after his 1st appearance in federal court on Friday, January 17. Marissa Bagg reports that Melly’s attorney, Michael Pizzi Jr, argued that Broward Sheriff violated his civil right for not allowing his family visitation or contact. "He isn’t even allowed to call me to discuss his federal constitutional litigation. I think it’s really, what the Broward Sheriff’s Office and the state are doing to him is disgraceful," said Pizzi. "They are obliterating his constitutional rights." BSO attorneys claim Melly, real name Jamell Demons, is a pose “serious threat” in safety of staff, inmates and property. Melly will return to federal court on Wednesday, February 19. Melly’s mother, jamie_K_YNW, shared hopes of speaking with her son soon in an interview after Friday’s hearing. #YNWMellyTrial2: On Tuesday morning (October 31), Melvin & Melly 2 Face 🌗’s mother, Jamie King (jamie_K_YNW), shared a video on her Instagram account where she tells her followers that she has decided to no longer attend jury selection court dates following the prosecution’s accusations and clarifies that Judge Murphy lll did not remove her from the courtroom. In the 6-minute video, King shares that she will return to the courtroom when the retrial begins. Judge Murphy lll ordered that Melly’s mother have zero contact with the potential jurors or appear at known jurors whereabouts at Broward courthouse last week. The state filed a motion to stricken King from the courthouse and deposition all jurors that was denied by Judge Murphy lll last week.
