Fewer participants in the race than what we’ve become accustomed to. This bums me out.

Jahzare Jackson is an OT prospect, played in OTE. He’s huge, 6-11/322. Interested to see him in positional drills.

FSU LB commit Gregory Batson (Gregory Batson Jr.) part of a really solid LB duo at Lee. He’s vocal out there, wins with smarts. Had an awesome rep covering Upshaw on a wheel route. FSU has the last of two OVs. Mississippi State is making a run at the 89-grade LB.

There's still a ways to go until he commits on July 1, but FSU enters OV season in a great spot for 4-star WR Jabari Watkins (Jabari Watkins). FSU is at the "very top right now" with four OV coming up for Watkins. More on his recruitment at Noles247:

Mandrell Desir is one of the highest-graded true freshmen in the country regardless of position. He's PFF's No. 3 run-stopping DL, regardless of class. And he should only get better:

Watching through a few of FSU's offensive commits from last 24 hours, I thin the ECU TE is a good fit for what they'll try to do schematically with screens and YAC stuff. Intrigued by the Purdue OL as well if he can regain some athleticism from '24.

FSU extended two offers to WR transfers this weekend (within a day after dismissing projected two-deep contributor Jalen Brown). In terms of fit, I think BYU's Keelan Marion makes a ton of sense. He's a plus athlete with wiggle for Malzahn's sweep game.
