🗣️"We play game against Peristeri Sunday, 1 o'clock. So from now, now is almost, not almost, is midnight. Players will go home, what time they will sleep? I will not talk to them about this game. Because they are smart, they know." Zeljko Obradovic discusses the brutal schedule….. 😐 #paobc

“Out of 300 days, I spend 295 in the practice facility!” “When I came to the NBA, I had Jameer Nelson and Wilson Chandler as role models when it came to training. Mike Miller was there too, although he was already a little older at the time. I just copied what they were doing. Their mindset was simple – show up every single day and do at least something.” Nikola Jokic on his training routine, the veterans he learned from early in his NBA career, and the habits he still follows today. 🃏🏀 🎥 Video credits: Jaomile podcast

“Who guards me the best? Everybody! The league is just as talented defensively as it is offensively. Ivica Zubac and Jusuf Nurkic, they’re chubby like me, so it’s hard for me to move them. Rudy Gobert: I know people say all kinds of things about him, but I think he’s a great defender. He showed that in the last playoffs. Jalen Duren from Detroit, Wendell Carter Jr, they’re smaller and tough to deal with. The entire Oklahoma City team... Victor Wembanyama.” Nikola Jokic was asked which players guard him the best and give him the most trouble in the NBA! 🎥 Video credits: Jao Mile TV

“Berk Ugurlu is our secret hero!” 🦅 “He played amazingly against Valencia. He changed the game. Even with the injury, he gave us the boost we needed. This is my fourth year with him on the team. I love him as a person and as a player. An amazing guy who means a lot to the team!” 🎙️ Dusan Alimpijevic, responding to a Basketball Sphere question about Berk Ugurlu, who once again delivered an excellent defensive performance tonight and made a huge impact for Besiktas! ⚫⚪

“Sarunas joked and brought me a beautiful green tie! I love this guy. I believe we have a special relationship. He joked because it’s probably the first time I haven’t worn a tie. I don’t want to promise anything, but I’ll try to prepare something for him over there (in Istanbul).” Zeljko Obradovic hopes to return the favor to Sarunas Jasikevicius after his gift tonight! Maybe a yellow tie is coming next! 👔😂#paobc #Fenerbahçe

🏀Former NBA stars Gilbert Arenas and DeMarcus Cousins fired back on 'Gil's Arena' after Nikola Jokić stated that every NBA player should spend at least six months playing in Europe. 🗣️ “We don't need to play in the Euroleague, our trash, the players who can't make these rosters go over there, and they're the best player in the Euroleague.” 🔥 🎥Video credits: Gil’s Arena

"Damian Lillard would pull up a three-pointer from half court. The next possession, Mario Hezonja would do the same. I'd tell him, 'Hezi, you can't do that...' He was always an incredible talent. But he didn't want to change himself or accept a smaller role on an NBA team." 🔴 Former Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic shared his perspective on why Mario Hezonja never fully lived up to his potential in the NBA. 📽️ X&O's Chat

"If there is no F4, Olympiacos will be champions of Europe maybe 4 times in a row." They had the most sustainable basketball performance in last 4, 5 years... so you will judge Vezenkov and Bartzokas based on one game on the F4?" Bogdan Karaicic, Zeljko Obradovic’s former assistant at Partizan, believes Olympiacos have been the most consistent team in the EuroLeague over the past few years and that other clubs should follow their example 🔴⚪️ #OlympiacosBC Video credits: EURO INSIDERS

“When you have 10 new players, you need time to settle things down. The problem is that the EuroLeague is brutal and it melts teams like this like meat in a machine. We need to find a way out of this situation as quickly as possible.” Dusan Alimpijevic spoke about his team’s mistakes and missed opportunities in today’s loss to Barcelona! 🚨

"Whoever came to the team through trades had to adapt to our system. There was no stepping out of line... until Carmelo Anthony arrived." (laughs) 😅😅 "He was always late for everything. Terry Stotts was traumatized by players being late, but with Carmelo... if practice started at 10:00 AM, he'd show up at 10:45. He had that flexibility. We started joking: 'Where's Carmelo? Where's Carmelo?'" (laughs) 🤣 Jusuf Nurkic jokingly recalled what Carmelo Anthony's arrival to the Portland Trail Blazers looked like, joining a well-established system and a locker room culture that was perfectly led by Damian Lillard. 🏀

“Panathinaikos and Olympiacos rivalry? No, we can’t even be mentioned in the same sentence. We are two completely different clubs in terms of size, dynamics, ethics.... This story comes from football, where they unfortunately have more championships. But in basketball, there is no rivalry. They are only rivals to themselves.” Dimitris Giannakopoulos speaking about Olympiacos in the latest episode of the EURO INSIDERS podcast. 🍿#paobc #OlympiacosBC

"Evan Fournier? I don't have to spend much time talking about Evan. Everybody knows... We're talking about a EuroLeague Final Four MVP. Everybody knows his potential and talent. If I have to say something, it's his commitment to the club and his teammates. That's even more important for a player like him." Georgios Bartzokas on Evan Fournier (Evan Fournier). 🎙️#OlympiacosBC
