I added subtitles to the part of the video that is in question here. The father in this video says absolutely nothing about Japan needing to change its culture. Because he and his family are Muslims, if there are festivals being celebrated at school that they don’t celebrate he has his kids take the day off. Also, his kids don’t get presents.

The guy who posted this video protected his account. It looks to me like the intention of the post was to mock the guy practicing a traditional martial art. This week I’ve seen a horrible story of the girl who ran that fox charity bring cyber bullied. If people could not do that it would be awesome. As a martial arts practitioner I see absolutely nothing wrong with a dude practicing an art. All the criticism of this guy came from people who don’t practice and who were just attacking him because of his race and weight. I don’t understand why people choose to attack people who are passionate about improving themselves. If you see someone making an actual effort, cheer them on.
