if anyone is curious about why seonghwa had all of the members saved as ATEEZ (their name) it’s so that “no one will be disappointed”. which tells me that the other seven have definitely fought over having the most affectionate name in seonghwa’s phone before

TIL that the kpop dancer who went viral because hwasa kept absentmindedly rubbing his freshly shaved head (see video) six years ago choreographed sagittarius, creep and at least some of skin. what a small world

i’m still thinking about this like the way the two women are seated across from one another (mirrors). the fact that this is really is the ONLY solo shot / close up of someone who isn’t seonghwa and we first see her distorted through a glass before she peeks around the object

what’s so beautiful about seonghwa being called mom by the younger members to me is that it’s 100% positive like it’s fully out of respect and affection- not just for seonghwa himself but mothers in general. seeing seonghwa validate that by embracing it is almost healing in a way

there’s something really poignant about mingi Literally quoting hwasa’s maria, a subversively defiant song that repeatedly tells us “you’re already beautiful”, in mamacita- which ateez themselves have described as a straightforward courtship song praising a beautiful woman/person

hwasa saying that she feels like buying her staff (and dancers) expensive gifts- cars in this case- is the least she can do because she inevitably makes more money as the artist even though they attend all the same schedules together 🫳🏽 my love
