When your biggest song is an accident that a broken guitar string set in motion.

This is one of those songs that the crowd knows from the first notes. Still enjoy performing it to this day.

When Howard Stern had me on his show years ago, he asked me to perform a few songs. Since it was pretty early in the morning, it was more of a challenge than performing at night on stage with a full band.

No Time started with one of Randy’s guitar riffs, and we knew right away it was something special. I've always loved playing it and look forward to performing it on stage with Randy on tour.

During The Guess Who days, when we weren’t touring, I went back to where it all started. I bought a house just a few doors from where I grew up, and that neighborhood sparked songs like ‘Sour Suite,’ ‘Albert Flasher,’ and ‘Rain Dance.’

Back in 1973, The Guess Who performed "No Time" on ABC’s In Concert. Hard to believe how long ago that was. The song has appeared to withstand the test of time and audiences still love to hear it live today.

I have never taken it for granted. I know I am one of the lucky ones. There are many very talented musicians who never got the chance to make a living performing.

We've closed our shows with "Share the Land" for a long time now. It was sort of my "hippie song" back in the day, but I think the words have as much meaning today as they did when I wrote it in 1970.

Of all the songs I have recorded, "Break It to Them Gently" is the one that has received the most airplay in my home country of Canada.

In '82 and '83 I was on the road perfomring shows as a trio...just piano, bass, and drums. What started out to be just a few shows, turned into over 70. It was great to be back on stage with Ian Gardiner who was with me for so many years on the road and in the studio after I went solo.

For a long time I have ended my shows with "Share the Land". The lyrics still hold up all these years later.

‘These Eyes' was the song that started it all for us. I still perform it most nights on stage with my band.

In 1976, I wrote ‘I’m Scared’ after a chance encounter stopping into the St. Thomas Church in Manhattan. The song was my mother's favourite and to this day holds a lot of meaning for me.

It seems like yesterday that the boys asked me to join The Guess Who at just 17 years old and it’s been a whirlind ever since. Grateful to still be touring and doing what I love
