It’s honestly just a sad day to be a BC Conservative. Standing there in 2024 watching this party make history and come so close to forming government felt like the beginning of something huge. Now it feels like I’m watching it break apart into a million pieces. And what makes it harder is watching people I genuinely care about and worked with in the Legislature, walk away. I’m not even mad. I’m just really, really sad.

I was at a stage in life where I felt like I needed to leave BC and chase a new opportunity, like many other British Columbians who feel pushed out by radical BC NDP policies that are destroying our province. Then Harman called and said it was time to get behind Caroline Elliott and stay and fight for BC. So I cancelled my flight. This is the most important leadership race the BC Conservatives will ever have. Let’s do this.
