Two years ago, I had the honor of visiting the headquarters of the Kurdistan Freedom Party. Today, they are part of the Kurdish Coalition formed in opposition to the Iranian Regime. Some reports say groups within this coalition may be working alongside the United States Armed Forces as potential ground operations against Iran are discussed. Nothing is confirmed. But what is certain is the courage of the men and women I met. These soldiers carry the hopes of a people who have struggled for generations. Their sacrifice, their loyalty, and their unwavering belief in a free Kurdistan is something the world should never forget. We remain forever grateful for their dedication and the patriots they are. Their greatest gift to Kurdistan is their unbreakable commitment to fight for a future liberated from oppression. Stand strong, our brothers and sisters.

The People of America have not forgotten about the Kurds in Rojava. This video is testimony that regardless of government action, your stories are being told. Awareness is being raised. Through that awareness, through that compassion, we will spark a movement in this country to support the Kurdish people. Please share this video with anyone in Rojava. Let’s give them some hope. Your stories are not being silenced. I will do all I can to make sure every person in this country hears of the horrors ISIS is doing to the Kurdish People everyday. Kurmanji: Kurdistan ne tenê ye.
