We request you to stand down, to not commit another war crime among so many that you've been committing and to stand down. Do not engage with our peaceful nor violent humanitarian solidarity mission for the Palestinian people in Gaza.”

FULL REPORT: Colombian public media reports that a U.S. military strike on a boat on September 15—the second attack on a vessel by the U.S. in the Caribbean that we’re aware of—was a Colombian boat and was in Colombian territorial waters. At least one of the three victims extrajudicially killed in the strike was Colombian lifelong fisherman Alejandro Carranza. Alejandro’s identity is confirmed by his cousin. The Colombian boat was adrift and had its distress signal up due to an engine failure.

On Saturday, January 3 at 1:57am, facilities of the Mathematics Center of the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research (IVIC) were destroyed in the U.S. bombing attack of Venezuela. The Center is part of the National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán. Venezuela receives 40 tons of medical supplies from Brazil A first shipment of 40 tons (of 300 tons pledged in total) of donated medical supplies from Brazil arrived Friday night at Maiquetía airport, replacing inventory that was destroyed in the U.S. bombing of medical warehouses in La Guaira on January 3. This shipment includes 110,000 treatment kits for hemodialysis, in addition to specialized medical supplies, dialyzers, catheters and solutions, to be used in the National Hemodialysis and Nephrology Program of Venezuela’s national public health system. This is the fourth shipment received this week to replace the destroyed supplies and equipment.
