In his Memphis Redbirds debut last night, RHP Aaron Wilkerson pitched a season-high 8.0 shutout innings while allowing just four baserunners on 78 pitches in the Redbirds' 6-0 win vs. Gwinnett. Wilkerson has allowed one run or less in each of his last five starts and improved to 5-2 with a 3.84 ERA through 19 Triple-A starts this year.

Last night, Memphis hit 4 HR in the 7th inning to erase a 7-run deficit, with Ramon Mendoza, Joshua Báez, Blaze Jordan and Colton Ledbetter all going deep. It marked just the second time since 2005 that the Redbirds have hit 4+ HR in a single inning (4, 8/24/09 at Round Rock).
