So sorry to keep you all waiting! Chip has made it through surgery. We have not long got home. The mass was (I hope this is the right word) a Seroma from what appears to be a trauma. Her intestine was also ruptured 😢 Timing coincides with changing their environment so we are very sure she’s had an accident when running around with the group 😢 I don’t know what the procedure is called but dr Sophie has had to separate and rejoin the intestinal tract. Chip is still in a critical state needing a higher level of treatment than I can give here. The absolute, most wonderful Sophie Jenkins Origin Vets Clinic has taken Chip home with her, to her house so that she can personally provide that 24hr care. I cannot express in words just how grateful we are to have so many wonderful people supporting us in saving rabbits. This community is truly magnificent, dr Sophie is beautiful soul, Aunty Em 🏴💚🤍💜 is a blessing as she has managed the rescue so we could be there with Chip. Every single person that has liked, shared, donated or left a supportive comment is a wonderful human, and it’s an absolute honour to be in a community with you. Dr Sophie will update when she can and I will post as soon as I know ❤️❤️ Today we gave Chip a chance. Thank you for seeing her life as having value. ❤️

Joanne is a bit of a madam, she’s not been handled too much from what I can see. I’m holding her under her arm pits as it gives me much more control without the need to squeeze her tightly. She has had 60g of watered down pellets and she will get that every 2-4 hours during the day to try and build up her strength for her GA on Thursday where those incisors will be removed ❤️❤️
