Asked #Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr. about Ja’Marr Chase’s “raw dog” comment: “Yeah, that was crazy. I mean, he’s not wrong in a sense, I guess. That was a crazy comment. I mean we ain’t trying to play games with them, we’re trying to win the football game. So, yeah, he’s right.”

Check out this postgame sequence here. #Pitt players after the final whistle run to the Cincinnati student section to taunt them after a chorus of “eat sh*T Pitt” chants all game. Then, Pitt safety Javon McIntyre who had the ball after the final turnover to win the game, is hawked down by the Cincinnati equipment staff to get the ball back. A Cincinnati player comes over and punches the ball out. What a scene after a 21-point comeback and 28-27 road win for the Panthers.

Former #WVU CB Beanie Bishop after #Steelers practice about #Pitt and the Backyard Brawl: "It's hatred. You don't have respect for those guys. I don't even like seeing their coaches and players watching us practice ... I don't think it should be week 2 or week 3. It should be part of rivalry week."

When the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette announced it was closing its doors, it was a big blow to us as employees, but also to the greater Pittsburgh area. I took to The Final Word that week to put it out to the public that we aren't giving up on our news outlet, and we hope you don't either:
