In my case, this has included: • An address leak by City Hall • Violent AI-generated videos • An email death threat • A photograph of an actual election sign being used as a kitty litter liner • Website domains and handles registered in my name and used to disseminate negative or defamatory content • A taxpayer-subsidized hit piece These experiences come against the backdrop of five years of criminal harassment and intimidation directed at me as a justice system participant and journalist. We don’t have to accept this as a normal price to pay for political participation. I told police I didn’t know her and thought nothing more of it. Moments later, as she exited Taco Bell, she threw liquid and ice at us—right in front of the cops.
