Vehicles belonging to the UN Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) can also be seen. Although the armed men in the video speak Arabic and wear sand-colored fatigues similar to those of Chadian and Sudanese forces, they are likely local troops from Vakaga. They claim to now control Amdafok.

28/ Since this morning the malian army released 2 communiqué saying the situation was in control. The government also released phone numbers to reach out for civilians. The national TV released a special intervention asking citizens to stay calm, and more importantly to not record any incident and publish it and rather to follow only the malian army communiqué.

The ship does not appear to be on any sanctions lists and its owner appears to be a Turkish company. This comes at a time when Ukrainian forces have struck two ships from Russia's ghost fleet in the Black Sea. The last visible AIS signal dates from November 25.

I am not sure about the identification of the ground drones, but this may be the first time we have seen them deployed (feel free to correct me). The video was shot in KATI during a troop review.
