Vehicles belonging to the UN Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) can also be seen. Although the armed men in the video speak Arabic and wear sand-colored fatigues similar to those of Chadian and Sudanese forces, they are likely local troops from Vakaga. They claim to now control Amdafok.

The ship does not appear to be on any sanctions lists and its owner appears to be a Turkish company. This comes at a time when Ukrainian forces have struck two ships from Russia's ghost fleet in the Black Sea. The last visible AIS signal dates from November 25.

20/ Footage showing JNIM commander Abdourhamane Zaza, and his troops stealing stuff from the malian tuareg general El Hadj Ag Gamou in Kidal governorate building. Zaza was the JNIM commander in charge of the Tinzawaten attack back in july 2024 which led to the death of multiple Wagner members and considered as one of the biggest russian loss.

He also accuses Côte d'Ivoire and Benin, naming the presidents of the three countries. However, it was this same junta leader who had organized an emergency meeting with his intelligence and security services a few days ago regarding the risk of an imminent attack by terrorist groups on Niamey airport due to security breach.

On re: location of Assimi Goita, its not clear at all and there is different rumors While his camp was indeed targeted i don’t believe he was killed. My understanding is that he is hiding somewhere with his security team. Back in november 2024 there was a video released by CANiK (turkish gun manufacturing company)showing turkish instructors training the presidential guard. There are potentially turkish security guards ensuring the safety of Assimi Goita among the presidential guard but no visual confirmation so far, hard to say wether they are just instructors/technicians (remember the whole AES relies on turkish TB-2 drones and other systems) or if it’s more than that (sadat ?)
