Love this anecdote from the surgeon that operated on Pope Leo XIV: "On the second day after the operation, we turned around and found him arranging the chairs in the chapel himself. We said, “Holy Father, we can do that.” And he replied, “It doesn’t matter. I can do it, so I will.” What can I say? He really was an absolutely ideal patient."

Pope Leo XIV offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the Place de la Concorde, where Louis XVI was beheaded, near the place where the Last Supper was mocked during the Olympics. He will gather in memory of hundreds religious martyred during the French Revolution. This is an Act of Reparation pleasing to Almighty God. The triumph of Catholicism over Atheism.

This is just incredible. The Pope is absolutely loving this. At the Prayer Vigil with the young people of France, they reenact the incredible history of the Church of France, from the arrival of Lazarus and his sister Mary Magdalene, the martyrdom of St. Denis, the baptism of Clovis, the purchase of the Crown of Thorns of Our Lord by St. Louis IX, St. Joan of Arc, the countless Saints of the eldest daughter of the Church, the martyrs of the French Revolution, all the way to the great St. Thérèse of Lisieux.

On his return flight from France, Pope Leo XIV is asked if he is "worried are you that AI could pose catastrophic risks to humanity or even wipe it out entirely", to which he responds: "If someone were to ask me, am I in panic mode? No, I'm not. I sleep at night. I do think that the concerns raised by many of the experts, specialists in AI, should be taken seriously. I don't think that is fake news, as some have said, to try and cause whether financial or some other kind of benefit. It's interesting to note that just today I read that the head of NVIDIA claims that he has found some way of inserting into AI certain guardrails, if you will, or limits so that they won't go outside of their particular units and cause the damage that people are talking about."
