My grandma is 96 YEARS OLD. She’s full of energy & talks very fast for hours non-stop. She scrolls on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp. Her secret? - Walks 5km daily. (stopped last year to due back pain) - Goes to the beach daily every summer (south Italy) - Had 5 children - Never smoked or drank alcohol - No restaurants - Doesn’t eat much processed food - Lots of REAL extravirgin olive oil - Ate lots of legumes & raw eggs as a teen - Her diet is mostly bread/pasta, dairy, fruit, seafood/meat However… she also: - Drinks coffee daily - Takes meds to lower her blood pressure (for 20 years) - Took lots of medications when she was younger for headaches - Got the 💉 It’s also important to keep in mind that: - WOMEN on average live 5-6 years longer than men. - For every child they have, women live an extra 6 months - She is quite short (1.55m, today around 1.50m), which makes a longer life more likely The video below is from 2022
