WE SEE YOU! On January 26, at around 8:30 PM, an Air and Marine Operations AS350 helicopter crew from the Laredo Air Branch spotted an ATV picking up two individuals who had just crossed the Rio Grande River on a raft. The ATV driver tried to drop off the subjects in a residential neighborhood, but quick action by US Border Patrol agents from Laredo South Station led to their interception. The ATV attempted to flee into the brush, but thanks to coordinated efforts with our air unit, all individuals were apprehended. Arrested were one U.S. citizen male, one adult male Mexican national, and one adult male Brazilian national. The ATV was also seized! #BorderSecurity #Teamwork

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Disabling fire needed to stop non-compliant vessel with 64 Illegal Aliens onboard! On May 9, our Michel O. Maceda Marine Unit detected and interdicted a non-compliant Yola-type vessel carrying 64 individuals on the western side of Puerto Rico. Marine Interdiction Agents discovered 64 illegal aliens from the Dominican Republic and Haiti onboard. The subjects were transferred onto AMO and PRPD FURA marine assets and transported to the Mayaguez Port of Entry. Border Patrol agents, with support from HSI and PRPD, processed the group at the Ramey Border Patrol Station for removal proceedings. #BorderSecurity

🚨 WATCH P-3 Leads High-Speed Pursuit: Marijuana Seized, Ecuadorian Smugglers Arrested 🚨 A Jacksonville P-3, on routine patrol in the Caribbean Sea’s source and transit zone, detected a fast-moving vessel on June 11. The crew visually identified a 3-engine Ecuadorian-style go-fast boat loaded with fuel barrels and large packages. The position and details were quickly relayed to Joint Interagency Task Force South and the USCG. USCG assets—including a helicopter and Over-the-Horizon vessels—responded rapidly. After an overflight, the suspect vessel stopped, allowing USCG teams to gain positive control. Result: 3,960 pounds of marijuana seized and 2 Ecuadorian suspects detained. Outstanding teamwork and coordination between NASOC-JAX, JIATF-S, and the USCG! #ProtectingAmerica #CounterNarcotics

🚨WATCH INTERDICTION AT SEA: On February 2, the Long Beach Marine Unit launched to interdict a panga-type vessel target of interest traveling up the west side of San Clemente Island, California. The Coastal Interceptor Vessel crew utilized two warning rounds before the panga stopped and were forced to use non-lethal force on the vessel operator. 🚨⛑️Blackhawk Crew Executes Daring Hoist Extraction of Injured Border Patrol Agent in El Centro! Yesterday, a San Diego Air and Marine Branch UH-60 Blackhawk crew responded to an injured El Centro Sector Border Patrol Agent. Due to challenging terrain and a possible broken leg, a hoist extraction was performed after a Rescue Specialist provided care on scene with fellow Border Patrol Agents. The agent was safely transported and transferred to local EMS near Ocotillo, CA. We stand ready to protect and support our brothers in arms—no matter the challenge! #RescueOperations
