🇳🇪When Niger's Army Chief of Staff said we are going to war with France, he does not mean that we are going to Paris to fight for France, absolutely not. He is referring to a defensive war. 🇧🇫Thousands of young and middle aged Burkinabes took to the streets yesterday in response to the aggressive posture taken by the US towards Burkina Faso. The protesters marched to the Thomas Sankara Memorial in Ouagadougou, where they expressed their anger against the US actions towards their nation . Many took the opportunity to sign up as a Volunteer to defend the home land. Solidarity was also expressed with Mali, following the downing of their surveillance drone by Algeria, in Malian territory.
