Zac Lomax is on the verge of returning to the NRL. He is flying to Port Moresby to finalise a multi-year deal with the PNG Chiefs. The deal expected to be worth $700,000-$800,000 per season over up to three years. Lomax travelled to PNG with his family on Saturday to complete the move. He’ll play the 2027 Super Rugby season with the Western Force before linking up with the Chiefs in 2028. Melbourne Storm also showed interest but Lomax knocked back their approach. This is the Reynolds/Kia ad incident. Absolutely disgraceful from the Broncos. The way they’ve handled and disrespected Adam Reynolds all week has been embarrassing. Surely he could’ve at least led the team out last night? South Sydney, bring him home as an assistant coach next year. Why should he stay at a club that doesn’t respect him? He’s a South Sydney man after all.
