Political analyst Sizwe Mpufo-Walsh takes a closer look at the report, addressing concerns about conflicts of interest, paid work, and the role of Major General Wally Rhoode. One of the key questions raised by Sizwe Mpofu is the issue of conflict of interest. Mpofu argues that when President Cyril Ramaphosa called in the Head of the Presidential Protection Unit, Major General Wally Rhoode, to investigate the theft at Phala Phala Farm, a potential conflict of interest arose. Mpofu questions whether the President called in Rhoode to protect a public resource or his own private interests.
