The Prime Minister is talking about reindustrialisation, national resilience, and economic sovereignty. This is the basis of nationalist economics, which I have promoted for years. But these objectives can only be achieved as part of a package alongside remigration, shifting spending away from welfare to investment, and abandoning net zero targets. Labour recognise they have to speak in the language of nationalism to win back voters. The public mood is only moving in one direction. They won’t deliver it, of course. But Restore Britain will.

For almost the entirety of our history, our people have actively opposed most of these values. They came into fashion five minutes ago, and will be forgotten just as quickly - yet the British people will remain, because our identity is not a defined by trendy liberal values. She refuses to answer whether Britain would be the same if all White British people were replaced by Pakistanis and Somalis who believed in these values - probably because if she took her argument to its logical conclusion, she would have to say “yes.” That is where this line of thinking leads. How anyone can take it seriously is beyond me.

The former Commander-at-Large of US Border Patrol believes that there are more than 105 million illegal immigrants in the US. That estimate is based on the fact that when Border Patrol actually began enforcing immigration law in major cities, traffic flows and school attendance rates dropped by one third as illegals made attempts to hide. Some estimates suggest there are 1-2 million illegals in Britain, but we don’t have any real sense of the true figure because the ruling class makes no attempt to find out. What we do know is that our public services are collapsing despite taxes being at record highs. That paradox is at least partly created by there being many more illegals in the country than anyone realises. The Trump administration has effectively ended illegal immigration, but has not been anywhere near tough enough on deportations and blinked at the first sign of serious backlash. Restore Britain will not blink. Every illegal will be deported and the asylum system will be shut down. If that provokes resistance, so be it.
