Food safety team has conducted an inspection at the below establishment on 27.03.2025. 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝘃𝘁. 𝗟𝘁𝗱., 𝗜𝗗𝗔 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗽𝘂𝗿 * The license of the establishment is taken in incorrect jurisdiction. * The kitchen floor is found unhygienic and sticky. Foul smell noticed. * Food handlers found without hair nets, gloves and aprons. * Pest control records, Water analysis reports, Medical fitness certificates of food handlers and FoSTaC trained workers are not available. * Tobacco stains observed on the walls of premises. * Store room found in unhygenic condition. * Huge quantity of expired products (300kg) were identified in the premises. * Sweets at the establishment are not fit for human consumption because of excessive use of food colour and fungal infestation. Acting on a complaint, Task force team has inspected the below establishment on 20.02.2025. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶, 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗸𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗶 * FSSAI license was not displayed at a prominent place. * FBO was found to be preparing mayonnaise using raw eggs which is banned by Government of Telangana. Approx. 1 kg of prepared mayonnaise was destroyed. * Synthetic food colors were being used in the preparation of food. * Marinated raw chicken (15kg) was found to be stored for more than a week in the refrigerator which is rusty and unhygienic with blood stains. * Refrigerator is highly infested with cockroaches. The walls of the kitchen, electric pipes, switch boards and raw material were highly infested with cockroaches. * Kitchen was found highly unhygienic with open dustbins. * There are no pest control records. * Medical records for food handlers, FoSTaC certificates were not available. * Cooking oil found used repeatedly for preparation of food. #CFS_Telangana Food Safety Department Telangana is organizing a two-part public engagement programme on 6th April 2026 as part of Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika Health Week, under the theme: “Together for Health: Stand with Science.” Event 1: Eat Right Walkathon 🚶♀️ The day will begin with an Eat Right Walkathon, aimed at generating widespread public awareness on safe, hygienic, and nutritious food practices, aligned with the Health Week theme. Route: From Jal Vihar to HMDA Grounds Necklace Road (~2.5 km) - Registration starts at 5.15 am Participation from officials, students, food business operators, and citizens Event 2: The second half of the programme will be the Eat Right Mela at Nature Cure Hospital Balkampet, Hyderabad focusing on awareness, training, and recognition. 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗮𝗿, 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿 02.11.2024 * FSSAI license copy not displayed at the premises. * Medical fitness certificates for food handlers were not available. * Walls and ceiling found flaking paint / plasters were found. * Kitchen floor found slippery, patchy and water stagnation observed. * Doors and windows not close fitted with insect proof screens. * Some of the food handlers were not wearing headgear, caps and aprons. * Live cockroach infestation observed in the kitchen racks. * Malabar parotas (3 pkts) found expired, hence discarded. * Gap between walls and rice bags were not maintained in the store room. * Kitchen does not have dustbins. * Vegetables like onions and potatoes were directly stored on the floor. 𝗡𝗥 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗸 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲, 𝗥𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿, 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗲𝘁 20.12.2024 *Internal structures are made up of iron sheets which were found to be rusty. * Flooring was found to be patchy, uneven with stagnation of water and was also found to be emanating foul smell. * One toilet provided which opens directly into the manufacturing premises and may lead to contamination. * Manufacturing and storage is being done in an unhygienic environment. * Pest control records are not available and presence of pests like house flies, mosquitoes and cockroaches has been noticed. * Waste bags, wooden logs, plastic containers etc were found to be dumped and disposed on the floor. * Food handlers were found without aprons, headgear, shoe cover etc and spitting was observed at some places in the unit. * Fostac Certificates and Employee health records were not available. Task Force team has conducted inspections in Saifabad and Abids area on 24.09.2024. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱 * FBO found operating food business without any valid FSSAI license. * Medical Fitness Certificates for food handlers, Pest Control Records for premises & Water Analysis Report for RO water used for food preparation were not available with the FBO. * Live cockroach infestation observed inside kitchen premises. * Water seepage observed from ceiling directly over grinding area. * Refrigerator doors were found found broken and joints were rusted. Food articles stored were found covered but not labelled. * Drains were found clogged and water stagnation observed. * Synthetic food colors found inside kitchen and upon enquiry FBO stated to have used them for Chinese items. Hence discarded on the spot. * Cosmetic Rose water was found in store area and suspected of being used in pudding preparation as per FBO statement. Hence discarded on the spot and instructed to use Food Grade Rose water only. * Beetle infestation observed in wheat flour & urad dal inside store room. * Dustbins found open at few points without proper lids.
