I rise to express my profound gratitude to His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for convening a reconciliatory meeting between Hon. Shartsi Kutesa Musherure and Hon. Aine Sodo. This timely intervention facilitated Hon. Sodo's ascension to the position in the forthcoming primary elections. This gesture is reminiscent of President Museveni's past efforts, which led to Hon. Sodo's gracious decision to step down in favour of Hon. Shartsi in the 2021 election. I commend Hon. Shartsi for demonstrating exemplary respect towards elders and a willingness to listen, as evident in her selfless decision to relinquish her candidacy in favour of Hon. Sodo. This remarkable display of statesmanship underscores her outstanding character and rare political maturity. As we stand united in our commitment to serving the people of Mawogola County North Constituency, I extend my sincere appreciation to Hon. Sam Kahamba Kutesa for his instrumental role in promoting harmony and cooperation. I acknowledge his invaluable advice and guidance in this matter, and I thank him for his unwavering dedication to our shared goals. Once again, I express my deepest gratitude to President Museveni for his visionary leadership and to Hon. Shartsi for her exemplary statesmanship. Together, we shall continue to serve our nation with unity, integrity and devotion. Thank you. Nuwagira Michael Toyota National Vice Chairman, Patriotic League Uganda (PLU)

I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Dr. Sylvia Tumuheirwe Alinaitwe, a true patriot and dedicated member of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), for her selfless contributions to the people of Rukiga. Her unshakable loyalty for the community has been exemplified through her instrumental role in constructing a state-of-the-art church in Rwamatunguru, Kamwezi, Rukiga District. Yesterday, I was honored to attend the joyous thanksgiving ceremony, which coincided with the grand opening of the church. The occasion was graciously presided over by the Archbishop of Uganda, the Most Rev. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu. The day was filled with delightful moments and the service was truly uplifting and memorable. Dr. Sylvia, your tireless efforts to uplift the community are a testament to your dedication and commitment to the people of Rukiga. As the National Vice Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), I salute you for your remarkable work and wish you continued success in your endeavors. 🇺🇬
