Imagine you land in Bangalore from outside India. Let's connect to the airport wifi. Oh nice, there are two of them. "BLR Free Wifi" - the name is self evident, lets try. Oh no, no captive portal. 😖 Ok PM WANI - whatever it might mean - lets try this too. "You need this special app access this" How to download said app without internet in the first place? 🤯 Bonus: Even if BLR Free WiFi captive portal worked like before, it would require OTP Bonus 2: The PM WANI app looks super sketchy with 3 bland screenshot, and zero reviews

It has been a long time since I made a video. I am sharing a deep dive into 2fac, a new 2FA app I built to replace Authy. What makes this project special is its massive scope, running natively across Android, iOS, watchOS, desktop, CLI, browser extensions, and the web. Building this many features across so many platforms was only possible through agentic coding. Huge thanks to Copilot, Claude, OpenCode, and Pi for completely changing how I write software. Here is what is covered in the video. In the pre-AI world, so many features, taking it to such a polished state (ui, design, relialibility of how it works, and quality of code too, you can take a look for yourelf) single handedly, that too working on spare time on the side from a day job, was simply not possible for non 10x, mid engineers like me 00:00:00 Project Overview & Motivation 00:03:31 Android App Demo 00:04:19 iOS & watchOS App Demo 00:05:32 Desktop App Demo 00:06:05 System Tray Integration 00:07:05 CLI Demo 00:08:44 Browser Extension Demo 00:10:00 Web App (PWA) Demo 00:11:40 Secure Unlock & Passkeys 00:16:30 GitHub Repo & Release Plans 00:17:30 CI/CD Pipeline Setup 00:19:00 AI Agentic Coding Workflow 00:23:50 Production Usage Warning 00:26:00 Custom AI Agent Skills 00:28:30 Automated Planning & Roadmaps 00:31:14 UI Testing with Maestro 00:35:12 Creating Custom AI Agents 00:38:34 Codebase Test Coverage 00:41:30 AI-Driven TDD

People have asked why would Netflix crash with Mike Tyson and Jake Paul at 5-6M streaming it when they have 300M users and 100M view Squid Game series drop on day 1? Well live and recorded content works different. Hacked together a quick explainer on my phone for this.

I would simply have not gotten a side project of this size and scale off and running with an MVP out of the door in less than 2 weeks without Claude Code, Cursor, Junie etc (+blog post by Gemini) I don't care about AGI, the coding productivity unlock is right here, right now.

AI truly unlocks experiences that were just unimaginable before. For example I liked playing a game but I wanted to build a slightly different version of the game with some changes. 4 hours with Claude Code, Gemini 3 and Copilot, and I am easily 50% there to an MVP.

Reached 150k population for the first time on Cities Skylines 2. The game starts to get really choppy after ~120k though. It was interesting to see, how initially GPU was at 100% utilisation but CPU at 10% and by the time you reach 100k population, even CPU cranks up to 50%
