Reporting from Lena, Illinois, tonight (April 17th) for The Weather Channel following this afternoon’s tornado. The damage through the town is widespread, with several homes and businesses sustaining substantial structural damage. Many areas are currently difficult to access due to a significant number of downed trees and power lines across the roadways. The most important update: despite the severity of the property damage, there are no known deaths or injuries reported at this time. Local crews are on-site working to clear debris and restore access.
