First, it was Stephen A. Smith mocking Lane Johnson for retiring to focus on his mental health. Then, the other day, Michael Robinson had one of the worst takes in broadcasting history, saying Jalen Hurts is not playing so that he doesn't get blame for a season that's gone awry. Turns out today, Hurts has multiple blood clots in his lungs and he's out for the rest of the season. The media has to be better. Not everything requires a hot take, especially when it comes to physical and mental health. #Eagles

🚨BREAKING: The Eagles are signing QB Joe Milton off the Cowboys practice squad. I’d rather the Eagles put developmental time into a QB who’s 6’5’’ and has a bazooka for an arm over Andy Dalton. This also signals to me, that unfortunately, Jalen Hurts might be headed to injured reserve. #Eagles

I'm not even a soccer guy, but I've been hooked to the World Cup. North America has done such a tremendous job hosting, that the World Cup should be in the United States on a steady rotation moving forward. We have infrastructure here that no other country in the world has, which makes us the perfect host country for such a great event. It's been amazing to see how much foreigners love being here. They've been lied to by the mainstream media, led to believe that our country sucks, but they're here and loving it. It's awesome. #WorldCup

Here’s what I’ve been told about Aldon Smith passing away today at 36 years old. He was dead on arrival at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, California. The 49ers have since confirmed the news. Smith was one of the most gifted players in the history of the NFL, but also one of the most troubled. RIP. Thoughts and prayers to his family. #49ers

🚨JUST IN: The 49ers will play the 1-seeded Seahawks in the divisional round on Saturday. It’s insane that the 49ers have to go on the road and play Seattle off their bye on a short week Saturday after traveling to Philadelphia. Yet, the Bears and Rams will play on Sunday, after they both just played on Saturday. How did that make any sense to anybody in the NFL office? #49ers

Man. Jalen Hurts is not seeing the field well at all. This is hard to watch from Baldy

We have to have an honest conversation about Jalen Hurts. - He has been awful the last two weeks - He's not seeing the field well or going through his progressions - Is missing guys who are wide open - Clearly is lacking confidence and isn't trusting what he's seeing, leading to him being indecisive and hesitant - When he's not playing at an MVP level, the Eagles offense is inoperable - Why isn't he using his legs? - Franchise QB's need to carry when things aren't going well. Hurts hasn't been able to do that - He completed two second half passes yesterday and couldn't make one big play in the second half There are a lot of offensive issues, but Hurts has to shoulder some of the blame. He's played very poorly #Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles will fire Nick Sirianni if... Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and GM Howie Roseman value offense. Lurie has hired offensive minds as HC's: Andy Reid, Chip Kelly, Doug Pederson and Nick Sirianni. If Sirianni doesn't get the offense on track this year (his background), he's on the hot seat because Lurie and Howie won't continue to accept offensive incompetence. Since 2025, here are some of the Eagles rankings on offense: - 60 drives ending in 3 & out (T-30th) - 29.0% 3 & out rate (last) - 80 drives with no 1st down (28th) - 7.7 yards to go on 3rd down (31st) - 131 rushes for 0 or negative yds (31st) - 53 red zone drives (28th) #Eagles

A Quenton Nelson trade would solve a lot of issues for the Philadelphia Eagles offense... #Eagles

Here at the Super Bowl, Mack Hollins is probably the best player to ask about to 49ers electrical substation theory. He said if he was on the team, he’d want the Niners to look into it and mentioned studies where EMF can impact the growth of plants and wonders what that does to humans #49ers

I think the 49ers are the most complete team in the NFL, but this is why I'm picking them to lose vs. Seahawks. The 49ers OL has not given up a sack this season. They're no. 2 in pass block win rate. The Seahawks are no. 1 in pass rush win rate. I don't like how the 49ers OL matches up with Seattle's big and physical front. The Seahawks are elite vs. run and don't blitz. The Niners might have to beat them by throwing the ball, but they're banged up at WR. Mike Macdonald has had Kyle Shanahan's number of late. Matchup of the weekend. #49ers

REPORT: I talked to somebody tonight who’s worked as an athletic trainer for multiple NFL teams and we started talking about the 49ers injury history. This person said it’s pretty known in NFL circles among strength and conditioning people and physical therapists that the 49ers do things differently than other teams and they have their own philosophies when it comes to strength and conditioning, physical therapy and weight lifting. This individual knows of head athletic trainer Dustin Little and said he has his own style of things he teaches and incorporates with the 49ers weight lifting, movement techniques and training strategy. People across the league are aware of how the 49ers do things because it’s “their way” and they think this could be playing a big role into the Niners injury problems. It’s not to say that what Little incorporates is wrong or bad, it’s just different than what other teams do. Really interesting. #49ers #FTTB

I went to Jason Garrett’s new restaurant in Dallas last night and he showed up. When I met him, I so badly wanted to say “Go Birds” and bust his balls about the Eagles’ recent success, but he’s actually a really cool dude and what I respect is he went up to every single table throughout the night, introduced himself, shook hands, laughed and conversed with customers. He also said “I can tell your from Philly. I love Philly, man.” So, if you’re in Dallas, hit up Caffe Luca. It’s an Italian, Sicilian themed spot and he paired up with a chef who has some Michelin rated places, so the menu is amazing. Jason’s recommendation: peanut butter espresso martini. It’s 🔥 #Eagles #Cowboys
