🚨 NEWS: The amendment to remove the pesticide liability shield language from the Farm Bill WILL be made in order— meaning the full House will get a chance to debate and vote on this before final passage of the farm bill. Now, it’s not the “Pingree-Massie” Amendment, which had broad bipartisan support. But the text they went with is identical to ours so that’s a win in my book. This is huge victory, but the fight is far from over. Thank you thank you to everyone — including the #MAHA activists who raised hell and said loud and clear: we cannot support a Farm Bill that puts chemical company profits over the health of Americans! Let your Member of Congress know — support the Rep. Anna Paulina Luna Amendment!

Terrible ruling today out of SCOTUS. After President Trump put his finger on the scales, Bayer has won in court what it could not get through Congress: a powerful new shield from accountability. If the Supreme Court is going to put even more weight on EPA’s pesticide review and labeling process, then Congress and the President have a responsibility to fix the dangerous gap this decision exposes. EPA must be transparent, science-based, independent, and accountable to the public—not the industries it is supposed to regulate. We have won this fight before and we must again.

A federal judge ruled that Trump had to take his name off the Kennedy Center by TODAY. But we all know how much he hates being told no, so he got his hand-picked board to file an appeal. Mr. President, I’m confused… I thought you were washing your hands with the Kennedy Center and “giving it back” to Congress (whatever the hell that means)? Take the L and move on already!

Late last night, Olivia Andre returned home to Maine. Bayer has now paid ~$10 BILLION to settle RoundUp lawsuits. The company recently announced another settlement of up to $7.25 billion to address current and future cases. You don’t pay that kind of money because there’s nothing to worry about. Now, Congress could hand Bayer legal immunity, preventing people like Teri from suing chemical companies like Bayer over the harm they’ve caused.
