Around 100 conservancy workers deployed to keep Marina Beach clean from today! And you, #Chennaiites — will you help #GCC on this mission? The 2.4 km stretch of sand area from Uzhaipalar Silai to the Light House will be kept clean with the help of mechanised sweepers in the morning. The conservancy workers will work in two shifts. In Shift 1 (6 AM to 2 PM), a team of 70 workers and 4 cleaning machines are actively engaged in deep cleaning the sand areas.
