Not a Cloudburst, but a Cloud Blast over Chennai!🌧️⚡ It is one remarkable spell in the history of Chennai with such continuous terrific lightning strikes. North and Central Chennai have got extreme rains. Parrys recorded 363.4 mm, Kathivakkam 344.4 mm, and Chennai Central 274.5 mm. Such short period extreme rains dumping is always dangerous. Surely Atmosphere had such an explosive conditions to bring these rains from an UAC. Still it is gonna linger near us and bring rains again today evening or night. #ChennaiRains #NEM2026

Scary visuals coming from Uthangarai, Krishnagiri district. Once in a lifetime historic rains of 500mm recorded. Super rare to see such numbers in interiors. Why slow moving cyclones are always dangerous. #CycloneFengal #Tamilnadu #Floods #Krishnagiri

Latest Google WeatherNext 2 Model consistently keeps the current circulation near Comorin sea for the next few days before developing it and moving along Tamilnadu Coast. This would bringing widespread heavy rains for South Tamilnadu & few parts of Interiors continously for the next few days. While it moves along the coast North Tamilnadu including Chennai will get good rains. It seems to be more interested in developing SW Bay system and merging the SE Bay system into this. SE Bay energy may be absorbed into the SW Bay pulse. Things are getting more interesting day by day, frame by frame!!! Let's see what the nature has instore for us.... South Tamilnadu is already having a great today and it is going to continue. Thanks to Google DeepMind Tulsee Doshi #ChennaiRains #NEM2025
