AMAZING CONSERVATION NEWS - Highland tiger kittens born in the wild! 🐾🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 See the INCREDIBLE moment two litters of critically endangered wildcat kittens are spotted for the first time in Scotland. This is a HUGE milestone for the ambitious Saving Wildcats (#SWAforLIFE) project that we've supported for many years. One wildcat born here at the zoo, called Margaret, was relocated to Scotland to help with these conservation efforts and went on to have several kittens of her own. In total, 19 wildcats were released into Cairngorms National Park last year, and it's incredible to think that Margaret's offspring are part of this reintroduction to help the species fight back from the brink of extinction. #SWAforLIFE #saveourwildcats

✨ A rare miracle caught on camera! ✨ Say hello to Miloli, a very special newborn okapi calf 😍 Watch as he takes his very first wobbly steps all the way to his first-time-outside zoomies! ☀️ Okapis are incredibly rare creatures, often called the “African unicorn.” They’re rarely seen in the wild, which is why every birth matters ❤️ We’re proud to be part of vital efforts to protect this amazing species - both here at the zoo and in Africa 🌍
