Peter Obi: Nigeria needs to elect a leadership with character...etc. Journalist: Some of your personal team members like Aisha Yesufu, Randy Peters etc, don't seem to have characters, how do you reconcile this irony? Peter Obi: We will need to get into government and we'll fix their characters. No where in the world is something fixed when you are outside government. Me: WTF 👀👀👀👀

This interview happened in August 2025 shortly after Mark and co completed a hostile takeover of the ADC. This man is Hon. Leke Abejide. He is an unapologetic supporter of Tinubu. Do not be deceived by his ant voice, he is a billionaire and was the first person to win a national assembly seat back to back using ADC. He did it in 2019, defeating APC, PDP and other parties to win the 2019 Yagba Federal Constituency election in Kogi State. He repeated it in 2023. So, he's no push over. By virtue of that he became ADC National Leader. Unfortunately, the first thing the coalition people did after their takeover of ADC was to suspend this man using Dino Melaye. The man said no way that he'll show them he's the National Leader of the ADC. Today, it's obvious karma has come to hunt the coalition people...

I just pity people wey dey take Hundeyin serious. Project delays happen all over the world and I don't know when it became a crime for a project to miss its projected delivery date due to unforeseen circumstances. David Hundeyin won't tell his audience that Dangote bought our refineries in 2007 only for Yaradua to reverse the sale. Dangote then decided to build his own from the scratch. Eventually he found a home in Lagos at the Lekki Free Trade Zone. The question any right thinking person needs to ask is this, if Dangote has no intention of refining crude oil, why expend close to $21 billion to build the largest single train refinery in the world with a deep sea terminal, 430mw power plant in an area over thrice the size of Victoria Island? If he wants to be selling crude oil like Hundeyin wants his zombies to believe, all he needs to do is to go and acquire an OML and set up an oil exploration company. If he wants to be importing refined fuel, by now he would have dethroned NNPCL as the biggest importer of refined petroleum products. He doesn't have to do a merry-go-round of building a refinery na. The lamentations of David Hundeyin simply makes no single sense but because his audience have auctioned their brains to him, they can't see it. He's simply bitter that the Dangote refinery they're told their minions was a scam is finally set to begin operations. Many bitter souls and enemy of progress simply needed a naysayer to cling unto to display their frustration over the good news that is the Dangote refinery. Long may their wailing and frustration last as Nigeria keeps rising!

HERE WE GO... Obi's Electoral Rigging Odyssey - Part 1 In the 2010 election, Peter Obi was NOT popular in Anambra State and if not for the help of Prof. Maurice Iwu's INEC and to an extent too many candidates on the ballot, he would have been roundly defeated by Chris Ngige. Dr. Chris Ngige (Onwa) was extremely popular then and even in 2013. Ndi Anambra wanted Onwa to return as Governor as they couldn't understand what Peter Obi was doing especially his ANIDS mantra. In that election, Peter Obi got 97,843 votes out of the 284,547 valid votes cast. In other words, a whooping 186,704 voters or 65% of voters in Anambra voted against Peter Obi. In the election, Chris Ngige of then ACN got 60,240 votes even after his strongholds were suppressed through missing names in the voters register and absence of voting materials (I will come to that in a follow-up post). Soludo who ran under PDP got 59,355 votes, Andy Uba of then Labour Party got 26,106votes, Nicholas Ukachukwu of HDP got20,777while Uche Ekwunife who ran under PPA got 9,595 votes. The other 19 minor candidatesgot a total of 10,631 votes. Rejected/invalid votes was16,685votes while the total number of registered voters in that election was 1,844,815 voters meaning that turn out was just 16.33% of registered voters. Peter Obi acknowledged the messed up voters register but quickly accepted INEC's "Solution to the mess" that people with voters card could vote even if their names were not on the voters register. This was a calculated plan by Maurice Iwu's INEC, Peter Obi and APGA to systematically rig the election because they knew that if the election was to be free and fair, Dr. Chris Ngige will trounce Peter Obi. Mind you, Ngige is from Idemili North, which is the LGA with the largest voting strength in Anambra State. In Part 2, we'll go into a little forensic analysis.

This is the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway. For the records, the following people kicked against the road, some even promised to cancel the project once they become president: 1. Atiku Abubakar 2. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi 3. Peter Obi Note: They NEVER kicked against the Sokoto-Badagry superhighway which is also ongoing. Anyone who kicked against the Lagos-Calabar coastal road cannot be Nigeria's President because that person LACKS vision.

This Hon. Leke Abejide (National Leader of ADC) seems like a blunt guy. The coalition really messed up with the wrong guy. They underestimated him and they are paying dearly for it. They accuse him of anti-party activity for his long time support of Tinubu dating back to when Tinubu was Governor meanwhile Ralph Nwosu who was ADC National Chairman in 2023 supported Peter Obi instead of ADC presidential candidate Dumebi who the party "suspended" before the election. My confusion is, why would the coalition see all these smouldering fire in ADC and still settle on choosing ADC as their SPV. Unless of course, there was a mole subtly teleguiding them to the Strait of Hormuz... Hon. Leke Abejide really learnt strategy from the Master Strategy himself. No wonder they are accusing Tinubu of being behind the ADC crisis. You see lions den, you jump enter come dey accuse the lion of devouring you 😂😂😂

President Bola Tinubu is an expert in market economics. For those who are still doubting Tinubu's academic prowess, I'm sure they will be confused by the part he said, "we'll give you papers to trade with" 😂😂😂. Let's learn together: he was referring to Promissory Notes. FG is owing Gencos over N4 trillion in legacy electricity subsidy debts. FG said they have verified at least N1.8 trillion and has told the Gencos that it will at some point issue Promissory notes to them as a way to liquidate those liabilities. Bola Ahmed Tinubu wants subsidy to go too in the electricity sector, although he's not going to push that button yet. But truth be told, that's the only way we can have 24/7 electricity in the medium term. It's not pleasing to the ear but that's the reality. I wish the states will begin to look into the electricity market with foresight. Lagos State just took over regulation of their electricity market and I can boldly predict that Lagos will shock the rest of the country in few years time. Enugu Electricity Regulatory Commission disappointed me greatly with that their tariff reduction move. It simply shows they don't really understand the market they are regulating.

Buhari's only son, Yusuf covering his father's grave. Yet some clowns believe Buhari has been dead since 2017. So, Yusuf is burying someone who is not his father or what? There are millions of people who think they are normal but in actual sense they need to be in mental homes. In China they send such people for "re-education".

Peter is always anti-progress He kicked against Lagos-Calabar coastal road He said infrastructure does not grow an economy He is against NAFDAC's fight against fake drugs He kicked against revamp of Port Harcourt refinery Peter Obi is simply a shortsighted minimalist.

Peter Obi today on Arise TV continued with his attempt to edit history and whitewash his performance in office. Let me start with education because that one gets me angry the most. Obi claims to have transformed education in Anambra State and moved Anambra from 26th position in Nigeria to 1st (in other words, we were olodos before he came into office in 2006). Let me use my secondary school, Igwebuike Grammar School, Awka to once again puncture Obi's exaggerations. NB: In Awka the state capital my school, IGS is the most popular and prestigious secondary school. Let me list the public schools in Awka before Obi came in: 1. Igwebuike Grammar School 2. Capital City Secondary School 3. St. John of God Secondary school 4. Amaenyi Girls 5. Agulu Awka (CSS, Umuike) 6. Ezioka (CSS, Umudioka) 7. Kenneth Dike Memorial Secondary School (Amikwo) 8. Government Technical College (later became FSTC) 9. Community Secondary School, Okpuno After Obi left, GTC had become FSTC, St. John of God returned to the Catholic Church leaving behind only 7 government fully-owned secondary schools in Awka. No addition. Back to my school IGS. As at 2005, before Obi came my school was doing well academically (in every school you'll always find the naturally brilliant and the irredeamably olodos). We consistently had one or two students getting 8As, 7As etc in their WAEC. Crucially, exam malpractice was not condoned in my school making some persons to enrol in private schools once they get to SS3. So, it is insulting to me and my school for Obi to be telling the world that when he came in 2006, Anambra was ranked 26th in education (or WAEC) in Nigeria. Now, in terms of transformation of the existing government schools, I can boldly tell anyone who cares to listen that Obi did not transform my school IGS. Imagine if a whole IGS wasn't transformed the way Obi paints it, which govt schools did he then transform? Well, the answer is he simply gave MISSION SCHOOLS grants and they added their own money too! Peter Obi did not add any new classroom block in my school. By the time we were leaving in 2005, UBE had started renovation of two classroom blocks (JS2 and JS3). Our JSS 1 block (an old storey building) was literally shaking. Our admin block and staff room was laughable. We already had basketball and volleyball courts but no proper football field. Crucially, we had a good library, a good ICT center donated to us by MTN with Internet connectivity and a French center. By the time Obi left, our school hall had collapsed and abandoned. Staff room still the way it was. UBE rehabilitated two blocks of classrooms. Towards the end of his administration Obi brought one generator, did borehole and gave a school bus to IGS (the Innoson school bus was mainly used by the principal by the way and not to take students to and fro school). IGS in 2013/2014 was in fact more dilapidated than it was in 2005 when my set graduated. During a tour of the school by my fellow old boys and I during Obi's tenure I wept for my IGS. So, there is no circumstances under which one can boldly claim that Obi transformed IGS, Awka. When you watch this video, the current reasonable state of IGS was thanks to the unwavering efforts of our old boys. We rebuilt the staff room, administrative block, added Corpers Lodge, a new library, a magnificent gate, rehabilitated many classrooms including ones previously done by UBE, changed our blackboards to white boards etc. Different sets of IGS old boys took up these projects. But unfortunately you'll see Obidients showing the new IGS school gate that Obi didn't know how it came about as his achievements in education! Mission schools is not a yardstick to gauge Obi's performance in education. These mission schools have multiple source of funding including from donation of its members and levies but the govt schools don't. Obi neglected them and was doing tokenism for them.

Anytime it appears as if international conspiracy against Nigeria becomes more pronounced, I find myself going back to this famous interview by one of my mentors, the late Alhaji Maitama Sule (Dan Masani Kano). He perfectly captured the unending conspiracy against Nigeria. Some powers won't ordinarily want Nigeria to have a period of 20 years uninterrupted peace because that would mean the arrival of a Nigerian empire on the world economic stage. I understand their fears. Let's analyse this for a moment: ✅ Nigeria is the 6th most populous country in the world currently - a huge market on its own. ✅ We have very hardworking and resilient people ✅ We have a very fertile land across the country spanning four vegetation belts capable of supporting a wide variety of agricultural produce. ✅ We are very rich in all kinds of solid minerals including those required for steel production, semi-conductors, cement, battery, etc. There are few countries on this planet more endowment. ✅ We are rich in fossil fuels - we are in the top 10 oil exporters, have the 16th largest oil reserve in the world and has the 10 largest natural gas reserves on the planet. ✅ We are in a prime maritime location. ✅ Despite grossly under-exploiting many of our resources and opportunities, Nigeria currently has the 27th largest GDP in the world by purchasing power parity. ✅ Nigeria does not beg for military aids yet our military have been able to keep Nigeria intact despite fighting across many fronts. Doomsayers continue to shift their deadline for Nigeria's "predicted implosion". ✅ Nigeria has a steady stream of brains and talents (human resources) which we continuously export to many countries. Just a refinery by Dangote in Nigeria is sending many refineries elsewhere out of business. BUA is on the way too. Nigeria is gradually cornering the petrochemical market in Africa through Dangote. Imagine when we sort out our power problems, begin full scale steel production, begin to add value to many of our primary solid minerals and agricultural produce among other things, Nigeria would be on its way to breaking into the top 10 economies in the world. Unfortunately for these angry external forces, under President Bola Tinubu, the sleeping giant called Nigeria has shown signs of ridding itself of the arthritis that has been impairing our strides for long. For the first time in decades, our economy is doing well across many economic fundamentals. We're not in danger of debt defaults; our currency is stable; inflation has eased; prices of food are reducing; the electricity calculus is gradually being solved; we're increasingly adding value to some of our primary solid minerals; we're tilting towards mechanised farming on a national scale; we're gradually trying to solve our livestock headache; we're laying multiple foundations for an educational renaissance; and many more. Just because VP Kashim Shettima made a humanitarian plea at the UN regarding the crisis in Gaza, boom, these forces remembered to love Christians in Nigeria and started sewing all manner of false narratives to paint a picture of systemic killing or extermination of Christians in Nigeria. They forget that our own President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a Muslim married to a Christian Pastor! All I know is that Nigeria will continue to survive these plots. I pity some of our fellow countrymen who are willing to be used as tools to destroy Nigeria. They don't learn from history. Nigeria will prevail against them all! I love my country 🇳🇬 and I will always fight for my country despite its many imperfections.

Yesterday I was opportune to be part of a Town Hall event organised by Channels Television anchored by SeunOkin Channels tv to discuss the Tax Reform Bills currently before the national assembly. The bills have seen significant opposition coming from some northern leaders and the NGF, especially on the issue of VAT revenue sharing among the states with many calling for the bills to be withdrawn by the President on account of this singular issue. Personally, I feel that part of the opposition from the bills stems from ignorance of the actual provisions contained in them or misconception of some aspects of the bill. However, when we look at the amount of VAT revenue that is triggering this whole haggling, you'll realise how precarious our revenue situation is. A dispassionate look at the data is essential to guide our positions on the necessity of these tax reforms. By the end of 2024, we may hit a record VAT collection of N6 trillion but that's just around $3.5 billion. In many states, their share of VAT revenue from FAAC in a year is bigger than their entire IGR! How on earth do you develop with such a revenue profile? This shows clearly that we need to reorganise and re-engineer our finances for optimum performance. This is what these bills seek to do. Although, increasing revenue collection is actually one of the intentions of these reforms but it is not the MAJOR reason. The major aim is to remove all the cogs and bottlenecks that affect growth and profitability of businesses in Nigeria by reducing their tax burden and exempting the small businesses from paying income tax. The vast majority of Nigerians who are poor would also be exempt from paying income tax. We're talking about 90% of Nigerians here! In other climes, any piece of legislation that brings overall tax relief to low income earners is always a popular bill with massive support. It is therefore bizarre that some persons are up in arms in Nigeria to oppose this kind of landmark legislation and they claim they're fighting for the masses. Data and logic should guide our positions and not sentiments or mischievous ignorance. Any reservations held by any individual or group about any section of the bills should be presented to the NASS during the public hearings and not calling for the withdrawal of the bills. Let's be serious in this country please.
