We recognize the fear and harm this has caused, particularly within the South Asian community, and remain committed to put a stop to these crimes and keep our communities safe.

Project Outsource has delivered a significant blow to a well-organized criminal network that has been spreading fear and violence in our communities. These individuals and their actions have no place here, and they will be held fully accountable. I want to thank our Joint Force Operation partners (Ontario Provincial Police, Halton Police, York Regional Police, How We Do It), and Ontario Government and Ministry of the Solicitor General for their continued support. Together, we are building safer, stronger communities.

Yesterday’s March Past ceremony marks a key milestone as they move closer to serving on the frontlines and increasing the overall safety in our community. #PeelRegion. Thank you to Michael Kerzner for your encouraging words and continued support as these recruits take the next step in their policing careers.

The Ontario Government’s proposed reforms are an important step forward in strengthening our bail system and supporting the tireless work of officers in stopping the revolving door of crime.
