We were elected to serve the citizens, not to serve ourselves. In this video, I address the proposed 2-year extension. While some MPs might be looking forward to how they can personally benefit from this, we have to ask ourselves, are we in Parliament to represent the people or ourselves? My biggest fear is the dangerous precedent this proposed amendment sets. If we treat our Constitution as a document we can easily alter for short-term convenience, we leave it entirely vulnerable. If we open the door to change it today, what stops the next group from coming in and changing it to 20 years tomorrow? We must protect the integrity of our laws. This is Budiriro 1 High School in Budiriro South. The whole football pitch is now submerged in sewage. The council has bee failing to fix the problem claiming that they don’t have resources, yet there is a council director pocketing 30K every month. This kind of witchcraft must be resisted by all. Yesterday was a Special day for Budiriro South constituency. Instead of a ground breaking program we ended up having a record breaking one 😅. More than 5000 residents came out to support the Chimbumu program. Yesterday the community rose above politics and became united for a cause. If there is something that keeps me going is the support that I get from Budiriro South residents. I also appreciate my friends for always being supportive. We are defining new ways of leading our communities. Special thank you goes to the council and the mayor Mayor of Harare, Jacob Mafume for making sure that land barons are prevented from taking this place. I also want to thank Australian Embassy, Zimbabwe for supporting the people of Budiriro South constituency. Alert ⚠️ A sad development: today some people claiming to be 🇿🇼 ZANU PF PATRIOTS 🇿🇼 youth invaded the only place that we are left with which is designated for a sporting facility in Budiriro South and are building houses. This is the second time in a year this place has been invaded. Some guys from the opposition tried to take this place some time beginning of this year and I managed to stop them with the support of the residents. I am appealing to the government, the council and all the stakeholders who can help us save this place to kindly intervene. We cannot allow our kids to be disadvantaged by these unscrupulous people.
