The average Nigerian poultry farmer loses 15-20% of their birds. What if we could fight that with real-time monitoring? I am building a sensor that monitors environmental conditions inside the farmhouse. This is the hardware side to SmartFarmAI. It eventually feeds into ML models that help detect early signs of diseases like Newcastle before symptoms appear. The first step is blinking an LED. It doesn’t look like much yet, but this is the hello world of hardware and the foundation of precision agriculture for poultry farms in Nigeria.
