Eto yung sa senate hearing tapos may nagbuhos ng tubig kay Hayden Kho. Sinearch ko talaga kasi baka guni-guni ko lang itong showbiz memory na ito.

I assume this happened post 02.02.02, the first ever MTV Asia Awards, where Ms. Regine Velasquez stole the spotlight singing Cry with Mandy Moore. To be fair, may sakit yata si Mamshie Mandy that time.

Direk Toñet holds a special place in my 🇵🇭 cinema loving ❤️ when she casted Nanay Lilia Cuntapay in her first starring role. The way Direk Tonet cheered “Ito na’yon! totoo na ito!” when Nanay Lilia won her first Best Actress award is cinema itself! Sayang wala na sa YT😢

Magagamit na ang kabaong na inihanda ni Magnifico para sa lola nya 22 years after. 😭 My fave performance of Ms. Gloria Romero from the 2000s aside from Tanging Yaman, Fuchsia and Rainbow’s Sunset.

Huhu I’m so proud of my kababatas! Mga ka-batch ko yang sila Xyriel Manabat at Zaijian Jaranilla! 🤭 Magaling na child stars noon and now, they’re on-track to become their generation’s most competent actors!

This sequence from Calvento Files: The Movie is one of the well executed and edited scenes in a Filipino movie. It perfectly build up the suspense until the climactic reveal of Valerie’s decaying body from the well. Horrifying and literally a scene that you can smell. 1/2

May nakanotice ba dito sa mga nanonood ng uploaded full movies ng Star Cinema sa YouTube na nagiba ang mga OST? For example, I clearly remember that Kailangan Kita’s opening bg music is Lumang Tugtugin by APO Hiking Society.

This first few frames of Nasaan Ka Man will intrigue you knowing that “hair-raising” scene is real! This frame leading to the montage with the opening credits while Pilar is narrating is a cinematic treat!

This scene from SRR 12 Punerarya episode. Super satisfying scene from a horror movie wherein very few of the protagonists made a clever decision because oftentimes, it’s the other way around. Carla Abellana is so good here plus my papa Sid Lucero!

Sadly, may long history ang Pinas in tolerating PDFiles. Sobrang nakakagalit ung Case Unclosed ep abt the normalized child prostitution sa Pagsanjan in the 80s. We have mala Epstein File (Andrew Harvey) pero nadeport lang sila at hindi nakulong sa Pinas dahil sa butas sa batas.
