Spent last week taking in Charleston (Rays) and Fayetteville (Astros). Both rosters were quite strong, but Cooper Flemming was the best player on the field. Was so good in every aspect of the game; looks like a top-100 prospect.

Andrés Giménez has made some changes: -2 mph faster bat speed -5 inches deeper point of contact -Starting 3 inches further back in the box and 16 degrees more open -Added leg kick and more closed at the start of the swing. Results: 3 HR in 22 PA. SSS, but something to watch 👀

Astros' 2025 1st Rounder Xavier Neyens was highly impressive last week. Hit the ball incredibly hard and showed a strong approach. The AVG/90th/Max EVs are among the best in MiLB, and Neyens already has an MLB body at 19. Contact will need to improve, but Neyens can mash!

The Royals signed Callan Moss as a UDFA this year out of @saintleobase. Moss was then named the Appalachian League player of the year, posting a 92.8 mph average EV and a 24% barrel%. Moss is off to a great start to his pro career, slashing .325/.481/.400 in 14 games w/Columbia

Luis Mey, RHP, Cincinnati Reds Mey reached 101.3 mph on his sinker with a heavy arm-side run and threw a solid slider in the upper 80s. Definetely an MLB bullpen arm, especially if he cleans up command a bit.

Eli Serrano III has a lot to like in the profile. He hits the ball hard consistently and has good barrel control. His approach looked good this weekend. His 6'5" frame could add strength, but the EVs are already there.

The Braves got a steal in the 20th Round last year, grabbing Eric Hartman from Canada. The 18-year-old has split time at 2B/OF and has hits in 9 of his last 10. Clocked him 4.1 sec H-1(plus). Showed a good approach and the ability to hit velocity in my looks last week.

I could watch the Roman Anthony home run amidst the overrated chants on repeat. Volume up! This ball was smoked 110 mph and went 435 feet.

Owen Carey, OF, Atlanta Braves Carey had three hits last night, including two doubles and a walk-off single. The Braves' 2024 15th rounder is legit, shows a great feel for contact. Uses the whole field well.

Chandler Simpson is so much fun. Hit a couple of line drives yesterday hard and laid down a beautiful bunt and had a sub-3.6 second home to first time. The defense looks improved this year, which is a huge sticking point. Simpson is an everyday player in the big leagues.

The Royals have a special arm talent in Kendry Chourio. Making his Single-A debut at 17 years old, Chourio worked his fastball 94-97 mph and showed an 85-87 mph changeup with strong traits. The upper-70s curveball was inconsistent at times, but it showed flashes. Plus Command.

It’s crazy that I watched Spencer Schwellenbach pitch with Rome(A+) in Asheville last year and 40 days later he was in the majors. If he ends 2025 as the Braves best SP I wouldn’t shocked. Pitching+ 113(7th best SP w/100 IP) 6-Pitch Mix(2 w/40% whiff)

Owen Murphy whiff reel for the night. Truly got better as the start went on, especially as he featured the curveball more later in the outing. The fastball has outlier traits and the slider and curveball were both sharp tonight. Mixed a few changeups.

Very impressed with Brewers' Jayden Dubanewicz this weekend. The 2024 16th-rounder is showing improved bat-missing stuff with very strong command. Good arm speed and sells all pitches well. The changeup is beautiful. FB: 92-94 CH: 85-87 SL: 81-84
