Thanks for answering the question on using someone else's betting account in return for a share of the profits. The problem is that if bookmakers suspect this is happening, they can demand increasing amounts of documentation before allowing withdrawals. If the account loses, however, they can simply keep the losses. Too many ordinary accounts risk getting caught up in these investigations. It's a symptom of a betting market that isn't functioning well. UK bookmakers are operating in increasingly illiquid markets, facing heavier regulation and higher tax burdens. The result is more restrictions, more account limiting and more punters looking for ways around those restrictions. I'm not sure what the solution is, but the industry needs something better than the current status quo. It's becoming a PR disaster.
