An 88-year-old fan loses his seats after 44 years and literally every sportsbro in the comments was saying he has to go because BYU "needs the money" to keep Sitake and to win games, and if he was a true fan he'd understand that. These people would feed their own grandfather into a Coinstar for a better recruiting class. Anything for the sportsbro to say “we won” after sitting on their ass for four hours.

BYU basketball posted this with “arrived in style last night” I just have two things to share: 1. From Brigham Young himself, “The worst fear that I have about this people is that they will get rich in this country, forget God and his people, wax fat, and kick themselves out of the Church and go to hell. This people will stand mobbing, robbing, poverty, and all manner of persecution, and be true. But my greater fear for them is that they cannot stand wealth; and yet they have to be tried with riches, for they will become the richest people on this earth.” 2. “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”

I’m sure his wife posted this in jest but the cruelest truths are always told in jest.

I keep thinking about this and how it feels like whatever he's "required to do now" is something heavy.
