🦐 How fun would it be to bring a Taiwanese style shrimp farming restaurant to LA. My partners already think I’m an obsessed weirdo about this aquaculture project so why not. Will need to “research” in Taiwan by going shrimp fishing. Thanks for the idea Robson Lin 🇹🇼🇧🇷🇵🇾🇨🇦!

Always proud of young Taiwanese for being unafraid to be vocal about being Taiwanese. Even when it brings all the trolls to the yard. Just know our elder generations were jailed at this age for saying the things that democracy allows Taiwanese to say today. When the default mode has been silence and self-censorship, just the act of referring to Taiwan as Taiwan sounds too loud for people. But as I tell my son, his grandparents didn’t immigrate to America in the 70s so we could be quiet and scared to be who we are.
