I also feel there’s an element of arrogance from Chelsea to suggest that the club are too good for Conor Gallagher. Which is embarrassing in itself. A homegrown international. You exceeded that dream Conor & captained the team, best of luck in Madrid. You deserved better.

CHELSEA REWIND: It’s a myth that Hernan Crespo was a flop at Chelsea. Despite a short stay at Stamford Bridge he certainly made a big contribution to the team. Some of the goals he scored were superb as was his movement. Full of passion & a pleasure to watch. Remembered fondly.

CHELSEA REWIND: To put it into perspective Ruud Gullit joining Chelsea in 1995 would be like Zidane going to Bournemouth or Ronaldinho going to Fulham. We were at best a mid table team. It was huge & it elevated the club to a level you could only dream of. Video of his debut. 👏
