In 2012, #KateUpton was widely viewed as one of the first models to challenge the industry's narrow beauty standards with her fuller figure. When she appeared on the cover of Sports llustrated Swimsuit Issue, the reaction was deeply divided, sparking widespread debate and criticism over her body type.More than 8, 000 mainstream news outlets covered the controversy surrounding her cover. Among the most talked about responses came from stylist Sophie Neophitou, who dismissed Upton by saying, โWe would never use her. She's like a Page 3 girl. She's like a footballer's wife, with the too-blonde hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy."

This is one of the first scenes of the movie. She appears about two minutes after the start and introduces the viewer to the character of Lucy โ dreamy, romantic and a little shy. Britney chose the song herself In a 2002 interview, she revealed that โOpen Your Heart"was one of her favorite Madonna songs, so she suggested using it in the film. The scene contrasts with Britney's image from the early 2000s.Instead of complicated choreography and concert costumes, she plays an ordinary girl who is just having fun in her room. Fans have been hoping for years that a full studio version of Britney's โ #OpenYourHeart would exist, but no confirmation of its recording has emerged. The scene is a reference to Lucy's childhood dream. Already at the beginning of the film, it is clear that music helps her express emotions and feel more free. This is one of the most recognizable scenes of Crossroads. Despite the fact that it lasts just over a minute, many fans of the fim consider it iconic because it conveys Britney's natural charm and love of music.
