James worked as a clerk. In the remake, we can see his cubicle while we walk through the labyrinth. This info already existed in the original, but not within the game itself; it came from an official Silent Hill 3 guide in a section called “Lost Memories,” which included information about the first three games. There, we finally learned that James was 29 years old and what his job was. However, in the remake, this aspect was developed much further. Based on the type of documents and metrics on his desk, we can see that it was a job involving repetitive tasks with no visible impact: processing data, reviewing reports, and filing projects—an extremely methodical and cold line of work. James was a corporate employee trapped in metrics, in a company that valued results rather than people. In real life, many people go through this, and it is exhausting. We can see the polaroid photo "Career's humble beginnings" a reference to his cubicle. #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake #jamessunderland

Today we celebrate the 27th anniversary of Silent Hill🌫️ A game that defined a new approach to psychological horror, blending supernatural terror and dark fantasy, with a diverse cast of characters—each carrying their own story while trapped in Alessa Gillespie’s nightmare. Its remake has already been in development for some time, and it’s expected that it may be released by—or even before—its 30th anniversary as a major celebration of the game that started it all for the franchise. #silenthill

🌟 God, this video is pure gold! Facial animations and character expressions that exist in SILENT HILL 2 (OG) but were not used in the final version of the cutscenes. I made this comparison between the final scenes and the cutscenes without any camera cuts. Shared by MychaelMillerArt (YT), a former animator who worked on the game. | #SILENTHILL2 #silenthill
